Specially formulated with hair fortifying herbs, oils and roots to help seal, relax and smooth each strand.  Our chosen butters and oils help to deeply condition. Damage is usually caused by heat, coloring or chemical treatments.  Our Curl Cream helps by adding moisturizing and nourishing elements to curly hair, which is naturally drier.  Our Curl Cream is a thick, buttery cream that melts in your hands and easily spreads onto your hair.

Note: Curl Cream is mostly used on curly hair, however, read below to see its wonderful benefits for all types of hair!

This "one stop cream" can be used for:

* Deep conditioning/hot oil treatment (apply and cover with hot towel, 30 mins) - all types of hair

* A pre-wash, leave on for 30 mins to overnight then, wash and condition

* A co-wash, leave on in place of shampooing (can be done daily or intermittently) For kinky, coily hair

* Smoothing for after blowdrying or heat has been applied a.k.a. anti-frizz (all types of hair)

* Daily conditioning for dry conditions like the beach (salt water), desert (arid air) or days at the pool (chlorine), leave in and pull hair back

* A leave-in cream for after washing to prevent frizz, if you don't have time to blow-dry and want to air dry without frizz

* Curl definition: apply to twists and leave in overnight then, undo twists in the morning and voila!

* Lengthening for natural, curly, kinky, coily textures

* Edge control and growth for kinky, coily textures

↪️ DIRECTIONS: (Start with a tiny amount to get a feel for its texture, a little goes a long way!)

* Use clean dry hands to apply, keep water out of product to inhibit bacterial growth and increase shelf-life

* For curl definition: (For wavy to moderately curly hair) Use on wet hair, Rub a small amount into palms and apply in a twirling motion to the bottom half of curls (to the desired shape). Air-dry. A little goes a long way! (For extremely curly, coily, kinky or severely dry hair) Use on the entire length of hair. Also, for curl definition: apply to twists/braids and leave in overnight then, undo twists in the morning and voila!

* If using a blow dryer, use with diffuser to keep curls. For straightening, use without diffuser and use a small amount to tame fly-aways and frizz.

* Use your judgment as to how much to use for general maintenance ie., curl definition and styling. (This will depend on how tight your curls are and how dry your hair is)

* As a deep conditioner or hot oil treatment: Apply a more generous amount to damp scalp and hair and cover with a warm damp towel or shower cap for 30 minutes or longer if needed (can be used overnight if hair is covered). Wash and style as usual. Or, apply a smaller amount and use as a leave-in conditioner to inhibit frizz. (all hair types)

* As a co-wash, wet hair, apply a small amount of curl cream, massage into scalp same as shampooing (this will loosen dirt), and rinse

* Also, great for wrangling in the curls and wisps to get a clean up-do ie., buns, twists or braids.

Since ingredients are our first priority, we examine not only the quality but the source. Being that water is an important component to many of our formulations, we treat it the same as any other ingredient.

 According to the World Health Organization, Environmental Protection Agency and other private organizations, Municipal Water is a possible source for extra contaminants. All of these possible contaminants make it tough to keep products pure and pose a risk of having a product spoil quicker as well. At Mia Botanica, we strive to keep our products pure at every cost, which is why we only use Filtered Reverse Osmosis Water for all of our aqueous formulations. So, we get the most (or least) out of our water!
