This 100% organic and natural flaxseed hair gel comes in a sealed glass jar. A plastic pump lid is also included with the 12 oz jar to make application easier.

For repeat customers: To reduce waste, I offer a hair gel refill, which means your order will come with a gel refill only (no pump lid). Your pump lid can be washed with soap inside and out and used over and over again!

Due to the gel being 100% natural and free of any artificial preservatives, it must be refrigerated upon opening. Once opened, the flaxseed gel is best if used within 4-6 weeks when kept in the refrigerator. The gel can be frozen to prevent it from going bad and then thawed to use as needed.

Also, due to it's organic nature, it is completely normal to see remnants of flax seed shells in the bottom of your gel jar.

This gel has no added scent in order to keep it as natural as possible. The only smell to this gel is the very faint scent of the flaxseeds.


Flaxseed gel is great for creating curly definition, shine, buildable hold, frizz control, moisture, and humidity prevention.

How to Use:
For best results, apply the gel to soaking wet hair that has been freshly washed and conditioned. Applying the gel to soaking wet hair will creat bigger curl clumps and prevent frizz. Do not be afraid to experiment with the amount of gel you use. This gel is very forgiving as it is water based. It is difficult to apply too much. The perfect amount needed will depend on your specific hair density, length, and texture.

After you have applied the gel, scrunch out excess water with an old T-shirt or T-shirt towel. This will also help prevent frizz and retain moisture your curls need. Air dry or diffuse to dry.
